C A M B R I A
Groundwater drawdown in the extraction wells and adjacent wells will be measured using
pressure transducers. Recovery rates in the extraction well will similarly be measured. Results
from the pump test, groundwater sampling, and quarterly monitoring results will be used to
determine the feasibility of groundwater extraction as a remedial approach for this site, either as
short-term periodic events or as a full-time groundwater extraction system.
Chemical Analyses: Soil samples from borings SB-19 and SB-20 will be analyzed for total lead
by EPA Method 6010. Shallow soil samples collected from borings SB-26, SB-27, and SB-28
will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, oxygenates, and lead scavengers by EPA Method 8260.
© Groundwater samples collected from the borings will be analyzed for fuel oxygenates and lead
scavengers by EPA Method 8260. Groundwater samples from the newly installed wells and
samples collected during the aquifer testing will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, seven
oxygenates, and lead scavengers by EPA Method 8260.
Offsite Source Investigation: Cambria will perform a records search for properties within 'h
-mile radius of the site subject site to determine if there are other potential sources of 1,2-DCA.
The research will include: a review of historical city directories at the Stockton Public Library (if
appropriate), a review of historical aerial photographs of the surrounding area, a review Sanborn
fire insurance maps for the area(if available) and, a review of government database information,
prepared by Environmental Data Resources, Inc. The results of the records search will be
reported with the results of the other investigation activities proposed in this work plan.
Report Preparation: Within 60 days of the receipt of analytical results from the laboratory,
Cambria will prepare a written report which will include documenting the activities presented in
this work plan.
SCHEDULE
Cambria is prepared to initiate this work upon written approval of this work plan by EHD.
Access agreements and encroachment permits will be sought once EHD has agreed to the
location of the proposed borings. The actual date of field work is contingent on driller
availability.
0797 7
