This addendum proposes one additional soil boring be drilled with cone
penetration testing (CPT) equipment at the location shown on Figure 1. The general scope of
work for this boring is the same for the offsite borings proposed in our August 28, 2003 work
plan, and is summarized below.
One additional boring (SB-29) is being proposed in the vicinity of well S-4 to provide vertical
assessment onsite and downgradient of the source area, and in an area of the site that has shown
repeatable 1,2-Dichoroethane (1,2-DCA) concentrations in groundwater in the 73 to 83 foot
depth range. Boring SB-29 will be drilled to I50 feet below grade (fbg). Previous CPT work in
this area has identified a coarse-grained zone at approximately 110 fbg. This zone and any other
coarse-Brained zone identified between 110 and 150 fbg will be targeted for water sample
collection. Groundwater samples collected from this boring will be analyzed for seven fuel
oxygenates and for lead scavengers. This boring will be drilled during the field work scheduled
for July 6 through July 16, 2004.
Previously proposed borings SB-26, SB-27,SB-28 will not be drilled at this time as access to the
cambda property has not been granted. Further investigation north of the site will be proposed in a
Environmental forthcoming revised work plan.
Technology.Inc.
270 Perkins Street
P.O.Box 259
Sonoma.CA 95476
Tel(70T)935-4850
F..(707)935-6649
