CAMBRIA <br /> January 28, 2003, Philip West Industrial Services, Inc of <br /> Benicia, California transported the soil to Alred Waste <br /> Industries' Forward Landfill in Manteca, California for disposal <br /> Well Materials. Wells S-1-85, 5-3-84, and 5-4-83 were constructed using two- <br /> inch diameter, Schedule 40 PVC casing with a screen slot size of <br /> 0 020-inch and#2112 Monterey sand Well 5-1-85 has a 10 75" <br /> OD steel conductor casing installed from 0 5 to 60 5 fbg <br /> Well Naming Convention The groundwater monitoring wells installed during this <br /> investigation were given well names that are not typical for <br /> monitoring wells Since these wells have deeper screened <br /> intervals and were installed in groups, we added a number to the <br /> end of the well name to differentiate these wells from each <br /> other This extra number indicates the depth of the bottom of <br /> the screened interval For example well 5-1-85 is part of the <br /> MW-1 well cluster and the bottom of its screened interval is <br /> 8s fbg <br /> Screened Interval Well 5-1-85 is screened from 75 to 85 fbg, well 5-3-84 is <br /> screened from 74 to 84 fbg, well 5-4-83 is screened from 73 to <br /> 83 fbg Monitoring well construction details are presented on <br /> Table 1 and recorded on the exploratory boring logs <br /> (Appendix B) <br /> Well Development/Sam lin Blaine developed and purged the new wells -1- - <br /> P � p p g S 85, S 3 84, and <br /> 5-4-83 on December 31, 2002 and sampled the site wells on <br /> January 6, 2003 Blaine developed the new wells using surge <br /> block agitation and pump evacuation Blaine's groundwater <br /> monitoring and well development report, which includes field <br /> sheets, is presented as Appendix D <br /> Wellhead Survey Virgil Chavez Land Surveying of Vallejo, California surveyed <br /> the elevation and location of the new wells on <br /> December 23, 2002 This survey was performed to comply with <br /> the State of California Geotracker requirements The surveyor's <br /> report is included in Appendix E <br /> 0797 4 <br />
