This report was prepared to <br /> meet quarterly reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control, Board, <br /> Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS). <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling for the fourth quarter of 1999 .is summarized below: <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, -Inc. (Blaine), of San Jose, California measured groundwater <br /> levels and collected groundwater samples in wells S-1 through S-3 on <br /> November.22, 1999. Samples.were transported to Sequoia Analytical of Morgan Hill <br /> California, for chemical analyses. <br /> • Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. (Cambria) evaluated water-level <br /> measurement data and prepared a groundwater contour map (Figure 2). Groundwater <br /> flow direction is to the southeast at an approximate hydraulic gradient of 0.002. <br /> oak I and, CA Groundwater samples collected from wells S-2 and S-3 did not contain TPH.g, <br /> Sonoma, CA benzene, or MTBE. Groundwater samples collected from well S-1 contained TPHg at <br /> Portland, OR i <br /> 5 e a t t I e, w A' a concentration of 120,000 ppb, benzene. at a concentration of 2,700 ppb, and <br /> MTBE (by EPA Method 8020) at .a concentration of 2,300 ppb. MTBE was not <br /> Cambria. detected in well S-1 by the EPA Method ,8260A analysis, however the laboratory <br /> Environmental <br /> i <br /> Technology,Inc. detection limit was elevated (<200 ppb). Well S-1 did not contain detectable levels of <br /> fuel oxygenates.
