Boring locations were backfilled with cement grout to the surface.
INVESTIGATION RESULTS
Soil samples from Borings SB-1 collected at the depths of 24 and 31.5 fbg did not contain detectable
levels of petroleum hydrocarbons. Soil samples collected from Boring SB-2 at the depths of 32 and
35.5 fbg contained TPPH at concentrations of 47 and 5,700 ppm, respectively. Neither boring
contained detectable levels of benzene or fuel oxygenate compounds. The soil chemical analytical
data summarized in Table 2 and presented on Plate 2.
Analytical results for soil samples collected from the northwest corner of the former tank complex
indicate petroleum hydrocarbons are not present in soil at a depth greater than 24 fbg. Soil samples
f collected from SB-2 near the northern fuel dispenser island indicate petroleum hydrocarbons are
present at the maximum depth explored (35.5 fbg) during this investigation.
€ If you have any questions regarding the contents of this document, please call.
Sincerely,
j
5Camb is Environmental Technology, Inc.
I
i Tom Magney
I Project Geolooggist e OFSSI(J h,
a w g
i Cr- o —+ x
Diane M.
