a Y r The quality of microbiological and physicochemical data depends foremost on the knowledge and ex- perience of the laboratory personnel performing the analyses. Although certification of bioremediation practitioners and/or biotechnical laboratories is not a regulatory requirement and, in fact, does not yet exist, all site data and information must,nevertheless,hold up under regulatory scrutiny.
