` 4I CHRONOLOGY Diesel Performance 2804 Fremont Street Stockton, CA 95205 02/20/87 One 3,000-gallon underground storage tank was removed this date under San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit and inspection. One soil sample for laboratory analysis was collected from beneath the tank. 09/13/88 Analytical results from the soil sample collected beneath the tank was submitted to the EHD on this date. The results were positive for petroleum hydrocarbons. 09/14/88 Unauthorized Release Report was filed this date. 11/20/96 "Notice of Reimbursement" sent this date to responsible party Diesel Performance at site address. 07/23/97 A site investigation began with the installation of five soil borings. See Smith's report Summary Report for Subsurface Investigation dated October 20, 1997 available on Questys. 09/25/98 One groundwater monitoring well, MW-1, was installed this date. See ATC's report Summary Report of Additional Subsurface Investigation dated January 8, 1999, available on Questys. 12/14/99 Three groundwater monitoring wells, MW-2 through MW-4, were installed this date. See ATC's Summary Report of Additional Subsurface Investigation dated February 24, 2000, available on Questys. 12/05/01 Three groundwater monitoring wells, MW-5 through MW-7, three vapor extraction wells, VEW-1 through VEW-3, and one cone penetrometor test boring, CPT-1, were installed beginning this date. A soil vapor extraction (SVE) pilot test was subsequently run on the vapor wells. See ATC's report Remedial Activity Summary Report dated June 18, 2005, available on Questys. 01/17/07 A permanent SVE remediation system began operation this date. Reports of system performance were submitted quarterly by ATC; available on Geotracker. 02/13/09 The SVE system was shut down due to low influent volatile vapor concentrations. ATC estimates that 5,436.78 pounds of TPHg, and 823.39 pounds of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were removed from the subsurface during the 16,500 hours of system operation. 07/14/09 The SVE system was re-started to conduct a rebound test. The results of the test indicated it would not be cost effective to operate the system further.
