Smith Techno1w SITE SAFETY PLAN <br /> FACILITY BACKGROUND <br /> Ian February 1987, one 3,000-gallon unleaded gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) <br /> and all associated piping and dispensing equipment was removed and disposed of. <br /> Laboratory analysis of a sod sample collected from beneath the former UST location <br /> indicated the presence of detectable concentrations total petroleum hydrocarbons. After <br /> the tank was removed, the area of the former tank was backfilled and resurfaced. <br /> WORKPLAN <br /> Task One: <br /> Supervise the installation of three soil borings to depths of approximately 30 feet. <br /> Two soil samples will be collected from each boring from areas which exhibit <br /> . physical indications of contamination. Samples will be analyzed for BTEX (EPA <br /> Method 8020), TPHg, TPHd, TPHk, and TPHmo (EPA Method 8015 Modified). <br /> PACE 4 <br />
