The eight monitoring
wells were located and gauged, but only four wells, EA-5, EA-6, MWS, and MW-5, contained water.
A potentiometric surface map (Figure 1) and a summary of groundwater monitoring data are
included in Table 1. After measuring DTW, the four monitoring wells with water were purged and
sampled. The groundwater samples were analyzed for dissolved benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene
and xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G). Results of the chemical
analyses are summarized in Table 1. Laboratory reports and chain-of-custody manifests are
included in Attachment 1. All purge water generated during the sampling process was collected in a
Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved purge water trailer and transported for recycling to
the Chevron refinery in Richmond, California.
Groundwater Technology, Inc. is pleased to assist Chevron on this project. If you have any
questions or comments, please call our West Sacramento office.
Sincerely,
Groundwater Technology, Inc.
