(AGE) ce <br /> has prepared this work plan for the destruction of four ground water monitoring wells at - t�rd <br /> 4100 East Fremont Street, Stockton, California (site). The location of the site is illustrated <br /> in Figure 1. Locations of structures, borings and monitoring wells related to the site are <br /> illustrated in Figure 2. Site background information is provided in Appendix A. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> In a letter dated 15 March 2011 (Appendix B), the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) directed preparation of a work plan to destroy ground water <br /> monitoring wells at 4100 East Fremont Street, Stockton, California, in accordance with the <br /> EHD Standards For Well Construction and Destruction. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A total of four ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-4) have been installed <br /> on-site. Well construction details are summarized in Table 1 and boring logs are included <br /> in Appendix C. Elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil <br /> samples collected during the installation of wells MW-2 and MW-3.Analytical results of soil <br /> samples are summarized in Table 2. Between February 2000 and November 2008, ground <br /> water monitoring events were performed at the site to monitor dissolved petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water.As described in the AGE-prepared No Further <br /> Action Required (dated 11 October 2010), petroleum hydrocarbons have not been <br /> detected in ground water monitoring wells MW-1, MW-3 and MW-4 since the September <br /> S37 Shaw Road • Stockton.
