(209)464-0138 <br /> July 22, 2010 <br /> Mr. Amrit Grewal <br /> Grewal's Market <br /> 4100 East Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, California 95215 <br /> Subject: Grewal's Market <br /> 4100 East Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, CA 95215 <br /> Dear Mr. Grewal: <br /> By letter dated 29 May 2009, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> directed that a comprehensive site closure summary for the above-referenced subject site be <br /> submitted by 03 September 2009 that included the following: <br /> • An interpretation of the presence of total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline <br /> (TPH-g) in groundwater collected from P-1513; <br /> • An evaluation of soil concentrations that exceed the Environmental Screening Levels <br /> (ESLs) (San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board) for gross <br /> contamination and direct exposure; <br /> • Previous and current estimates of the residual TPH-g and total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> quantified as diesel (TPH-d) masses in soil and groundwater; <br /> • A site map indicating the correct locations for P-15 and P-16, and omitting P-17; and <br /> • Nearby sensitive receptors. <br /> To date the site closure summary Has not been received by this office. The EHD believes this <br /> site may be ready for closure, but needs the requested information before submitting to the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board Central Valley Region for closure <br /> consideration.
