On 26 December 2000 Ms.Debbie Machado of California Water Service Company(Cal-Water)was contacted by telephone at 209-464-8311. According to Ms. Machado drinking water near the site is currently supplied and maintained by the Cal-Water system. During the telephone conversation,Ms. Machado stated that there are no municipal wells within a 2,000 ft radius of the site. Following the telephone conversation, AGE reviewed a map titled Water System of Stockton,published in 1996 by Cal-Water, and did not depict any municipal water wells maintained by the City of Stockton or Cal- Water within 2,000 feet of the site On 26 December 2000, Mr. George Mantross of the City of Stockton Public Works Department (CSPWD) was contacted by telephone at 209-937-8633. According to Mr. Mantross, the CSPWD maintains sewer systems in the area of the site. However not all parcels are currently utilizing the City of Stockton sewer system. The site address of 4100 East Fremont is currently not utilizing the City of Stockton Sewer System. On 26 December 2000,an AGE representative conducted a search of septic systems and well permits at the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division for the site. , property and surrounding area 'No records of septic systems located on the property were found. However, well construction and pump permits for water wells located within a 2000 ft -radius were found for the following: 17. One industrial well located at 4500 East Fremont Street.
