rp .
24 April 2000
AGE-NC Project No. 97-0327
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends:
Continued quarterly monitoring and sampling of wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 as
previously stated by AGE in the recommendations section of Ground Water Monitoring
' Report - I" Quarter, dated 21 April 2000. The next ground water monitoring event is
tentatively scheduled for May 2000.
•1 Conducting a search for potential ground water receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of the site.
• Additional soil assessment north and northeast of well MW-3, west of boring P-6 and
southwest and south of well MW-2.
• Installation of three additional ground water monitoring wells as previously stated by AGE
in the recommendations section of Ground Water Monitoring Report- I" Quarter, dated 21
April 2000.The wells should be installed further south-southwest of MW-2 (down-gradient),
• further north-northwest of MW-2 (cross-gradient) and east-northeast of MW-3 (up-gradient)
to further assess the extent of adsorbed and dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons and
oxygenated fuel additives.
,1
6.0. LIMITATIONS
r Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
p
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from review of previous consultants reports
and a limited number of available data points (soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary
' away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
recommendations contained in this report.
,1
Advanced CcoEnvironmental,Inc.
