Stericycle Environmental Solutions
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM
Spill Response and Containment
In the event of an unplanned release of a liquid hazardous substance,clean-up operations will commence with
the spreading of a non-combustible absorbent material around the perimeter of a liquid spill. This material will be
cautiously placed on the spill until absorption is completed. After absorption of the liquid hazardous material has
been complete, the hazardous material will be containerized, covered, and transported to the packing area.
