Care will be taken to ensure that visible air bubbles are not <br /> present in the vials after filling and capping.Following collection the samples will be appropriately <br /> labeled, placed on ice and kept in a cooler until delivered to a DHS-certified analytical laboratory <br /> for analysis. Chain-of-custody protocols will be used to document sample custody transfer from the <br /> field to the laboratory; a chain-of-custody form will accompany the samples. <br /> 4.5. EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION/WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> All sampling tools used for sample collection, except for disposable bailers, will be thoroughly <br /> rinsed with clean water after being washed with a solution of Alconox. All down-hole drilling <br /> equipment will be pressure washed prior to starting each boring. Cuttings generated during drilling <br /> will be stockpiled under plastic and resinate generated during drilling and ground water sampling <br /> activities will be containerized in properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums, and stored on- <br /> site in an area lacking public access.
