Comments: <br /> Routine inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1.) A/C T14 CCR 17354-276 waste tires stored outdoors were stored against the shop and within 10 feet of <br /> perimeter fencing. <br /> A. Tire storage piles containing less than 500 waste tires shall be located no closer than 10 feet from lot lines or <br /> buildings; however, tire piles containing less than 500 waste tires may be stored within 10 feet of lot lines or <br /> buildings after the operator has obtained approval from the fire code official. <br /> B. Either reduce quantity of waste tires on site to below 500, alter storage of tires so that they are no closer than <br /> 10 feet from lot lines and buildings, or obtain alternative storage approval in writing from the local fire authority. <br /> 2.)A/C T14 CCR 17356 -Waste tires are stored within a foot of the ceiling.Waste tire piles containing less than <br /> 500 waste tires shall not exceed 6 feet in height when within 20 feet of any property line, building, or perimeter <br /> fencing. Side slopes shall not exceed 60 degrees. <br /> A. Waste tires shall not be stored within 2 feet or less from the ceiling in nonsprinklered areas of a building. <br /> Waste tires shall not be stored within 18 inches or less below sprinkler head deflectors in sprinklered areas of a <br /> building. <br /> B. Either reduce quantity of waste tires on site to below 500, alter storage of tires so that they are no closer than <br /> 2 feet from the ceiling, or obtain alternative storage approval in writing form the local fire authority. <br /> Notes: <br /> 1.)TPID certificate is posted in the shop. <br /> 2.) No wtms activity for this facility since previous inspection. Facility confirmed no pickups since previous <br /> inspection. <br /> 3.)Waste tires were counted directly. 276 waste tires were stored outside of the shop. 235 waste tires were <br /> stored inside the shop. <br /> 4.) Permission to conduct inspection was granted by Salvador Arias (Owner). <br /> 5.) Retain all waste tire manifests, disposal receipts, and logs for 3 years. <br /> 6.) Facility only stores it's waste tires at this location. <br /> 7.) Permit Exclusion Notification Form was provided to owner on site. Fill out form and mail to address listed on <br /> the back. <br /> 8.) Inspection report will be mailed to facility because owner does not have an email address. <br />
