The purpose of the tests
was to determine if potential ground water contamination from
oche
Puregro facility, located at 1904 W Charter Way,
had reachedaffected the subject site. This letter and the attached copy of
test results presents the results of the testing.
The Puregro facility is located approximately 0.33 miles
northwest of the subject site. It had come to the attention of
the Stockton Unified School District that the facility was being
investigated for possible ground water contamination. A Ms.
Wendy Wyels of the Regional Water Quality Control Board was
contacted and she indicated a range of substances for which they
were testing for. The list
of actual substances is extensive, but following is a summary of
the test methods used. These methods mainly test for a range of
pesticides and soil fumigants:
EPA 504 EPA 8150
EPA 601 Ammonia at N
EPA 614 Nitrates
EPA 619 Chloride
EPA 632 Zinc
Ground water samples were obtained according to the attached
work plan, dated February 21, 1996. For approximate location of
the test borings see the attached Location Map, Plate No. 1.
A copy of all test results is attached. The results
indicated that all substances tested for were non-detected except
the following:
