SCMULE A <br /> The services shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the <br /> following: <br /> Task 2 .1 Permitting and Pro-Field Activities <br /> Obtain from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Department, Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) . a permit <br /> to abandon the four monitoring wells at the Facil.-ity. This <br /> task includes preparation and submittal to the SJCMM of the <br /> necessary permit application. Field work at the Facility <br /> shall not start before the permit is obtained and be performed <br /> in comformance with all relevant requirements of the permit <br /> and permit application to the satisfaction of the siCEHD. A <br /> copy of the permit application and permit shall be sent to <br /> OWTS. <br /> Task 2.2 Abandonment of the Monitoring Wells <br /> The well abandonment shall be implemented in accordance with <br /> all applicable laws and regulations and such requirements as <br /> may be issued by the SJCE[D. In the absence of governmental <br /> requirements to the contrary, the four monitoring walls shall <br /> be drilled out to a maximum depth of 35 feet and the borings <br /> grouted to surface grade with a cement/bentonite slurry. The <br /> soil cuttings, associated well materials and :equipment <br /> rinseate water shall be spread out on the ground surface at <br /> each well location. <br /> Task 2.3 Reporting <br /> Upon completion of the field activities, Driller's Well <br /> Completion Reports shall be prepared for submittal to the <br /> State of California Department of Water Resources and others <br /> as required by applicable regulations.
