concentration of TPH-g (9,700 µg/L) was detected in MW-5B . MTBE was not detected by EPA
method 8260 in any of the groundwater samples analyzed.
2000 - 2003
Beginning in June 2000, groundwater in all monitoring wells has been sampled on a calendar
quarterly basis. These sampling events took place on June 6, 2000, August 28, 2000, November
14, 2000, February 13, 2001 , May 30, 2001 , August 22, 2001 , October 11 , 2001 , February 14,
2002, May 10, 2002, September 30, 2002, December 4, 2002, March 5 , 2003 , and June 5, 2003 .
Reports documenting these activities have been previously submitted to the San Joaquin County
Public Heath Services Environmental Health Division by Clearwater.
2002
A dual-phase test well and air sparge point was installed at the site in February 2002. Remedial
Ij feasibility testing at the site was conducted during the week of. March 10, 2002 . The Well
Installation and Feasibility Testing Report was submitted on May 9, 2002 . From data collected
during these activities, Clearwater developed and submitted a Corrective Action Plan dated
November 20, 2002 to the San Joaquin County Public Heath Services Environmental Health
Division .
2004
During the third quarter of 2004, twelve remediation injection wells and an oxygen-infusion
system ("iSOC") were installed on the site. The iSOC system has increased DO in the
remediation wells from "baseline" levels of approximately 1 mg/L to concentrations on the order
of 30 mg/L . Clearwater conducted monitoring of the iSOC system, and collection of DO, ORP,
total and ferrous iron, pH, temperature, and specific conductivity measurements on a bi-weekly
basis. Clearwater performed system monitoring on a monthly basis and followed with a regular
quarterly groundwater monitoring schedule.
2005
Clearwater conducted monitoring of the iSOC system, and collection of DO, ORP, total and
ferrous iron, pH, temperature, and specific conductivity measurements on a monthly basis .
Clearwater monitored the groundwater monitoring well network on a regular quarterly
monitoring schedule. Additional samples were collected during the third quarter groundwater
monitoring event for analysis of in-direct geochemical parameters . Microbial counts obtained
during the third quarter indicated an increase in microbial growth had occurred since the
installation and start up of the iSOC system.
2006
Clearwater conducted monitoring of the iSOC system, and collection of DO, ORP, total and
ferrous iron, pH, temperature, and specific conductivity measurements on a monthly basis .
Clearwater monitored the groundwater monitoring well network on a regular quarterly
monitoring schedule. Additional samples were collected during the third quarter groundwater
monitoring event for analysis of in-direct geochemical parameters. Microbial counts obtained
during the third quarter indicated an increase in microbial growth, except for MW-4, had
occurred since the 2005 third quarter monitoring event.
