Also note that well permits are issued <br /> to the licensed C-57 contractor who will be performing the work. If more than one <br /> contractor will be working on site, each must be issued a permit. An encroachment <br /> permit must be obtained from the City of Stockton for any work that will be done in the <br /> city right of way. A copy of the issued encroachment permit must be submitted to <br /> PHS/EHD before a well permit can be issued .
