Remediation Summary: in-situ chemical oxidation , overdue
E . Contaminant Exposure Pathway Evaluation : not yet assessed
F . Recommendation :
In April 2008 , the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP should
direct the Responsible Party to conduct a limited investigation to confirm that the
extent of groundwater contamination has been defined east of the site . The Fund
also believes the Responsible Party should assess the effectiveness of the
current groundwater treatment system . Benzene concentrations vary greatly
seasonally suggesting the current sparge interval may not be optimal . The Fund will review this site next year to track progress.
UPDATED , April 2011 , the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP
require that the Responsible Party implement the approved remedial action to
achieve Water Quality Objectives in a timely manner.
Kirk Larson , P .
