_ovv_
CLEARWATER
 R0
£nv"."Menfaf Serveces
All field-work was conducted in accordance with Clearwater's Groundwater Monitoring and
Sampling Field Procedures and Natural Attenuation Processes and Recommended Monitoring
Guidelines (Attachment B) Groundwater monitoring and well purging information are
presented in Tables 2 and 3 and on Gauge Data/Purge Calculations and Purge Data sheets
(Attachment C)
Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Results
On March 7, 2006 static groundwater in the wells was observed in the vicinity of the site at
depths ranging from approximately 7 03 feet below ground surface (bgs) in MW-2 to 10 00 feet
bgs in MW-8 Gauging data, combined with well elevation data, was used to calculate
groundwater elevations in these wells, and to generate a groundwater elevation contour map
The groundwater flow direction was calculated to be toward the southeast at a gradient of 0 015
feet per foot (ft/ft) (Figure 3)
The laboratory reported levels of benzene above the laboratory reporting limit of 0 50 gg/L in the
samples collected from MW-513 (1,700 µg/L) and MW-8 (1 8 gg/L) A dissolved-phase benzene
iso-contour map is included (Figure 4) Concentrations of TPHg detected above the laboratory
reporting limit of 50 micrograms per liter (gg/L) were reported for the groundwater samples
collected from MW-5B, MW-7 and MW-8 The detectable concentrations range in value from
290 µg/L (MW-8) to 13,000 µg/L (MW-5B) (Figure 5). Various concentrations of toluene,
ethylbenzene and xylenes above the laboratory reporting limit of 0 50 µg/L were reported for the
samples collected from MW-513 The laboratory reported a concentration of MTBE in the
samples collected from MW-1 above the standard reporting limit of 0 50 gg/L Well
construction details for both the groundwater monitoring wells and the iSOCrM system wells are
presented in Table 1 Current and historical groundwater elevation and analytical data for MW-1
through MW-8 is summarized on Table 2 A copy of Kiff Analytical LLC laboratory report
number 48793 is included (Attachment D).
ZB178I 3 of 10 May 2006
