Specifically, RF Land, Inc. ("Owner's grants HCB, the City {
and Licensee permission to perform the following activities at the Property.
Task 1 - Survey the Site: A licensed surveyor will collect the necessary data to
construct an accurate site map. The survey will include site boundaries, `
buildings, tanks, sumps, wells (on and off-site) and other significant
features. In addition, the topography of the yard surface and top-of-
casing elevations for wells will be determined.
e
i
Task 2 — Photograph the Site: Specific features of the site and business
operations will be photographed.
I
i
Task 3 — Perform Dye Tracer Studies: Dye will be flushed into certain surface I
water catchments to determine the discharge points. These catchments
are: (a) the three apparently connected catch basins/sumps located near f
the Spray Oil Containment area, and (b) the catch basin located near the !..
Liquid Bulk Fertilizer Storage/Containment area. An environmentally j
safe, NSF-approved dye will be used.
I
Task 4 — Investigate Buried Cement Irrigation Conduit: The path of the
cement irrigation conduit that is visible near the Surface Water Sump
Area will be investigated using video and underground locating
equipment.
Task 5 — Install Shallow Monitoring Wells: Two soil borings will be drilled to 4IL
depths of approximately 40 feet and complete as shallow groundwater
monitoring wells. The two locations are: (a) near the catch basin located
near the Liquid Bulk Fertilizer Storage/Containment area, and (b) near
the office/storage building. Soil samples will also be collected at `
approximate 5-foot intervals. The well constructions will be consistent
with the California Well Standards and those of wells that exist on the j
site. The proposed locations for the two monitoring wells are provided on
the attached drawing
Task 6 -Measure Water Levels: The depth to water will be measured in all wells
and sumps at the site.
i
Task 7 — Collect Water Samples: Samples will be collected from all on-site and
off-site monitoring wells, puddles, sumps, and the water supply well.
I
Licensee will manage the work under contract to HCB and the City.
