Grant SITE CODE: 1122
Stockton, California
Pleased be advised that on September 1, 1993, your file was reviewed by the
State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) staff with the
Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund Program (Cleanup Fund). The
purpose of their review was to determine if you are in compliance with the
corrective action orders and directives issued from this agency. Compliance
with corrective action orders and directives is a requirement for
reimbursement of cleanup costs from the Cleanup Fund.
As a result of this review, the SWRCB staff have determined that you are
currently not in compliance with the directives form this office because a
workplan to investigate the full extent of the soil contamination and the
quality of the groundwater, requested in letters to you from San Joaquin
County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD)
dated July 28, 1992 and November 3, 1992, has not been received by this
office.
For cases such as yours, the Cleanup Fund is providing responsible parties
with an opportunity to come into compliance and remain eligible for
reimbursement through the Cleanup Fund by allowing PHS/EHD to issue
revised directives with an absolute time schedule for initiating corrective
action. You must show that you are taking immediate positive steps to
come into compliance.
A Division of fan Joaqum Comm Health Marc x. mces
