The SVE piping is connected <br /> to well EW-1. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the results of In-Situ Air Sparging Feasibility Pilot Test Report, AGE proposes <br /> to install, operate and maintain in-well air-sparging equipment in two existing ground water <br /> remediation wells, extraction well EW-1 and deep extraction well EW-2. <br /> 30'-S-v' <br /> The remediation field activities will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Installation of additional underground remediation piping; - <br /> • Installation of two in-well air sparging units within extraction wells; <br /> • Ground water remediation start-up period (one week); <br /> • Monitoring and maintenance; <br /> • Preparation of reports. <br /> Each of these tasks are discussed below in detail. <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site permits have be obtained from the City of Stockton and from the San <br /> Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District.An update to the health and safety plan <br /> presently on-file will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities(National Institute for Occupational <br /> Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection <br /> Agency, 1985).
