INTRODUCTION <br /> i At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California The scope <br /> of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and preparation of this report The location of <br /> the site and the immediately surrounding area is illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring <br /> well locations on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the <br /> AGE-prepared Quarterly Report -August 1997 <br /> 1 <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground <br />' storage tank (UST) sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as outlined in the <br /> RESNA-prepared Assessment of Soil and Groundwater Contamination, dated 17 September, 1993 <br /> • and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) by letter dated <br />' 28 September 1993 <br />' 21 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 13 September 2002, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to Piound water <br /> in five ground water monitoring wells and five vapor extraction wells relative to the nip: of Lhc NN el? <br /> casings The ground water elevations and giadient were determined from this data (Table 1 ) <br /> iAfter recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump or dedicated disposable <br /> bailers were used to evacuate the wells of standing watei The wells were evacuated in order of least <br /> contaminated to most contaminated, based on previous monitoring data The purge pump was <br /> decontaminated pnor to evacuating each well using an Alconox solution and double-rinsed with <br /> clean water <br /> Between 17 and 20 gallons of water (a minimum of three casing volumes) were; evacuated r'tom <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4, and between 9 and 12 gallons of waier were evacuat(_OA <br /> from monitoring well MW-7 and vapor extiaction wells VW-2B, VW-3, VW-4 and VW-�C, <br /> approximately 3 5 gallons of water was removed from vapor extraction well \,W-5 f3 Ground ,vatci <br /> temperature,pH and conducts ii,y were me&,ured atregular intervals during the purge process using <br />' an Oakton water analyver Pu ged water v,as stored on stte'in properly labeled 55-gallon I)0 F- <br /> . approved drums The field data Sheets are included in Appencaix A <br /> 1 E <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmeot'd,[xic <br />
