INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California(site) The <br /> scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and preparation of this report The <br />' location of the site and the immediately surrounding area is illustrated on Figure 1 Structures and <br /> monitoring well locations on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is <br /> provided in Appendix A <br /> 1 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground <br />' storage tank (UST) sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as outlined in the <br /> RESNA-prepared Assessment of Soil and Groundwater Contamination, dated 17 September 1993 <br />' • and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)by letter dated <br /> 28 September 1993 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br />' On 13 December 2002, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in five ground water monitoring wells and five vapor extraction wells relative to the tops of the well <br /> casings The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from this data (Table 1) <br />' After recording water level measurements, a Watera Hydrolift Pump was used to purge monitoring <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-4 of standing water and dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to <br /> purge the remaining wells of standing water The wells were evacuated in order of least <br /> contaminated to most contaminated, based on previous monitoring data <br />' Between 16 5 and 20 gallons of water (a minimum of three casing volumes) were evacuated from <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4,and between 9 and 12 gallons ofwater were evacuated from <br />' monitoring well MW-7 and vapor extraction wells VW-2B, VW-3, VW-4 and VW-5C " <br /> Approximately 3 0 gallons ofwater were removed from vapor extraction well VW-5B Groundwater <br /> temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during the purge process using <br />' an Oakton water analyzer Purged water was stored on site in properly labeled, 55-gallon DOT- <br /> approved drums The field data sheets are included in Appendix B <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc. <br />
