iQuarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005 <br /> LARRY'S AUTO <br /> 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California <br /> I1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California(site) The <br /> scope of work included a quarterly groundwater monitoring event and preparation of this report The <br /> location of the site and the surrounding area are illustrated In Figure 1 Structures and monitoring <br /> well locations at the site are illustrated in Figure 2 Site background information is provided in <br /> Appendix A <br /> I <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br />' sites Procedures for the sampling of the monitoring and extraction wells were described in the AGE- <br /> prepared Work Plan Addendum, dated 15 December 1995, and Quarterly Report-August 1997 <br />' • 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> I On 21 September 2005, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in five ground water monitoring wells and five vapor extraction wells relative to the tops of the well <br /> casings The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from this data (Table 1) <br />' After recording water level measurements,a Waterra Hydrolift Pump was used to purge monitoring <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-4,MW-7,VW-3,and VW-4 of standing waterprand dedicated disposable <br />' plastic bailers were used to purge wells VW-213, VW-513 and VW-5C of standing water The wells <br /> were generally evacuated in order of least contaminated to most contaminated, based on previous <br />' monitoring data <br /> Between 15 and 19 gallons of water(a minimum of three casing-water volumes)were purged from <br />' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4, and between 8 5 and 11 5 gallons of water were purged <br /> from monitoring well MW-7 and vapor extraction wells VW-2B, VW-3, VW-4, and VW-5C <br /> Approximately 3 5 gallons of water was removed from vapor extraction well VW-513 Ground water <br />' temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during the purge process using <br /> an Oakton water analyzer Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled, Department of <br /> Transportation(DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums The field data sheets are included in Appendix B <br /> 1 <br /> • <br />' Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 - <br />
