The limit of detection for <br /> the method of analysis is one part per million (mg/kg). <br /> Samples are analyzed for lead content after digestion in nitric acid and peroxide <br /> (EPA 3050) by Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma Emission Spectroscopy. <br /> samples are analyzed for ethylene dibromide:..(EDS) by following a modified EPA <br /> Method 601 procedure. The volatile components of the sample are concentrated on <br /> a Tekmar LSC-2 automatic sample concentrator prior to injection into a gas chroma- <br /> tograph equipped with a Hall detector. <br /> Quantitation is performed against knownconcentrations of EDB.
