Human Health Risk Assessment <br /> Former Mobil Oil Bulk Plant 04-343 <br /> 504 East Grant Line Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> i.2.2 Site Description and Land Use <br /> The site is located approximately 3,500 feet south of Highway 205 at an elevation of <br /> approximately 30 feet above mean sea level (National Geodetic Vertical Datum - 1929). <br /> Currently, the site is a fenced, vacant lot. Adjacent properties are either vacant or commercial <br /> t ' and industrial developments. The site is bounded by vacant lots to tll;: east and south, Doane <br /> Products Company to the northwest (across the Southern Pacific Railroad and Grant Line Road), <br /> ' and Leprino Foods to the north. Topography in the vicinity of the site is relatively flat and <br /> slopes slightly to the north toward Grant Line Road. <br /> 1.2.3 Regional Background <br /> ' Nine sites within a one-half mile radius of the site were identified in a January 1993 review of <br /> the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB; "Leaking Underground <br /> Storage Tank (LUST) Site List". The CVRWQCB files were reviewed for six of the sites <br /> located nearest to the former subject site. Each of these sites is an active LUST site, under the <br /> jurisdiction of the CVRWQCB. These sites include: <br /> • Doane Products Company, 450 East Grant Line Road <br /> • PG&E Tracy Service Center, 502 East Grant Line Road <br /> ' • Reynolds and Brown Property Y p y (Former Handyman facility), 724 East Grant Line Road <br /> ' • Tracy Fire Station #2 301 East Grant Line <br /> Road <br /> ' • Steve's Rentals, 275 East Grant Line Road <br />' • Dick's Exxon, 2360 East Street <br /> The land use along Grant Line Road in the immediate vicinity of the site is predominantly <br /> commercial/industrial.
