Alton Geoscience, on behalf of <br /> Mobil Oil Corporation, herewith submits a response to the <br /> letter received from SJCPHS, dated September 5, 1991, <br /> regarding the supplemental site investigation report for the <br /> former Mobil Oil Bulk Plant, 500 East Grantline Road, Tracy, <br /> California. <br /> All comments contained in the SJCPHS letter are addressed <br /> f <br />' below. <br /> Comment Number 1: <br /> Mobil Oil Corporation contracted Balch Petroleum to carry out <br /> the excavation, transportation, and disposal of the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon-affected soil at the site. Copies of the waste <br /> manifestation are included. <br /> Comment Number 2: <br /> Analytical reports and chain of custodies for the qualitative <br /> water survey were enclosed in the supplemental site <br /> investigation report (See appendix G) . Additional copies are <br /> enclosed. <br /> NComment Number 3 : <br /> Analytical reports and chain of custodies for Soil Samples <br /> B-2;,,B-3, B-4, and B-9 are enclosed. <br /> k CommentNumber 4 : <br /> The soil sample collected at 6.0 to 6 .5 feet below grade in <br /> Boring 8-2 contained 180 ppm of TPH-D.
