GRANT LINE ROAD; TRACY <br /> We are in receipt of your Soil Excavation and Preliminary Groundwater <br /> Investigative Report as well as your proposed Work Plan for Additional Site <br /> Investigation for the above site. <br /> Pursuant to your recent telephone conversation with a member of my staff, we <br /> will be unable to promptly review and provide comments on the Report. However, <br /> we do not have objections to continued field investigation in order to better <br /> define the extent of the contamination problem. <br /> The additional investigative field work, identified as Part 1-Supplemental <br /> Subsurface Investigation in the-Proposed Scope of Work, shall be submitted to our <br /> office and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board entitled the <br /> Problem Assessment Report no later than..April 25, 1991. <br /> The portion of the work Plan entitled Part 2-Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> should follow Section 2652(d) of the Underground Storage Tank Regulations (CAC, <br /> Title 23, Subchapter 16) for quarterly monitoring requirements and, is to show <br /> the: <br /> -status of investigation and cleanup activities including the <br /> results of all investigations completed to <br /> date; <br /> -proposed continuing or next phase of investigation; <br /> -method of cleanup proposed orimplemented, <br /> schedules for the completion of the <br /> investigationoof the site and remediation; <br /> -monitoring well data including groundwater <br /> elevation, pH;conductivity,gradi.ent; <br /> -analytical results of groundwater or. soil sampling; <br /> and <br /> --a site map showing:= the "zero line" of contamination, if known, <br /> and changes in the above measurements over <br /> the last quarter. <br /> Reference: Appendix A, Tri-Regional Recommendations, '10 August 1990. <br /> A Division of San,joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
