Jenkins, Assoc. Engineering Geologist
Request for Extension of Report Submittal Deadline
for Phase I Remediation Work, Tracy Orchard Project
Mr. Jenkins:
As I mentioned during our telephone conversation on April 26 and May 11, Chevron Pipe
Line Company has experienced delays finalizing a property access agreement and
obtaining the associated easements and permits to conduct the air sparing pilot test at
the Tracy Orchard Project Site. An access agreement is currently being drafted and will
be presented to Cardoza Properties during the week of May 16 for discussion. The
necessary permits will be obtained once this is complete. Work will begin shortly after
an agreement has been reached. We do not anticipate additional delays; and therefore,
we request extending the submittal data of the Phase I final report to July 13.
We anticipate completing our pilot testing prior to commencement of road construction
in the area and will notify you when thf✓ particular tasks outlined in our work plan are to
be conducted. In the interim, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
me at 510-242-2721.
-Sincerely,- -
Mark L.
