Hanigan. <br /> This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of June 5 , 1987 , <br /> regarding problems with the above-entitled project. <br /> Please be advised that our contract with Pacific Asphalt makes <br /> them primarily responsible for all work necessary to clean up the <br /> contaminants and/or hazardous substances caused by their work on <br /> our above-referenced sewer project . Our contract further <br /> required Pacific Asphalt , Inc. to hold us harmless from any <br /> liability whatsoever because of such matters.
