With regards to your questions on the models and parameters to be used an
evaluating the risk at former Moresco Property located at 16865 Gawne Road, Stockton,
California,I have the following information.
The version of the models we play to use are:
1. API-DSS (SESOIL& AT-123D)-Version 1.03 by American Petroleum Institute and
is part of the decision support system fear exposure and risk assessment. API is
plana* an upgrade to use the new version of SESOIL, however this has not been
completed so we will be running version 1.03.
2. ASTM RBCA(Tier 2 RBCA by GSI)-Version 1.4 by Gt oundwater Services,Inc.for
ASTM.
The mom site specific information that is used the more accurate these models reflex site
conditions. There is some overlap on these two and ultimately we may only use one or the
other. The API-DSS model will yield results that are closure to site conditions then the
ASTM male]. So we would stark with that if we can get it approved by the fund.
What I suggest we do develop a work plan based on the,API-DSS and get it approved by you
and take it to the Ftmd for cost pre-approval. If they resist on approval of fluids, then we can
ncgotiste the ASTM cost. They have approved funding for that model process for my clients
before.
Respectfully,
Reynold I.
