January 30, 2007 '4113 1 2007
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
Mr. Mike Infurna PERMITJSERVICES
San Joaquin Environmental Health Department
304 E. Weber Avenue
Sockton, California 95202
Subject: Monitoring Well Installation and
Soil Borings (SR0047685)
APN 181-030-01
Mariposa Lakes (Arbini Property)
4847 S. Jack Tone Road
Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Infurna:
This letter summarizes the work to be performed on address 4847 S. Jack Tone Road
(APN 181-030-01). Gerry Kamilos of PCCP Mariposa Lakes, LLC, would continue to be
the one for contact on the MFR as the property owner.
Kleinfelder has scheduled V&W Drilling of Isleton, California to perform the required
tasks. Tasks are to include up to 13 additional soil borings and three (3) additional
monitoring wells, see Plate 1. The soil borings will be tentatively set at the locations on
the attached map. The proposed soil borings will be drilled to an approximate total
depth of 95 feet below ground surface and grouted to the surface per San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department (SJEHD) guidelines. The three additional
monitoring wells (MW-13, MW-14 and MW-15) will be placed at their respective
locations. Monitoring well construction will be similar to previous installations, see
Diagram 1. Kleinfelder will notify SJEHD prior to grouting of each boring to allow them
to visually inspect the process to ensure that it is within their specifications.
A tentative date of February 7, 2007 has been scheduled to begin drilling. The
proposed soil borings and monitoring wells will be staked prior to the drilling activities.
Any questions feel free to call Joe Zilles in our Sacramento office (916) 366-1716.
©2007 Kleinfelder, Inc.
