Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan ANDERSON PROPERTY 724 East Grant Line Road, Tracy, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Phase 11 Site Assessment Work Plan for the property located at 724 East Grant Line Road, Tracy, California (site). This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures to be used for soil boring advancement, and soil vapor sample collection and analysis. This work plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of petroleum related sites. This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) application for drilling permit (Appendix A). This investigation is being conducted as part of a financial transaction. The location of the site is presented on Figure 1 and a plan of the site with proposed soil boring locations is presented on Figure 2. 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK Based on historical site usage, a soil vapor investigation is being conducted at the site as part of a property transfer. The following basic tasks include: • Permitting and pre-field work activities. • Advancement of four (4) shallow soil borings to four feet below surface grade (bsg) for collection of soil vapor samples. • Report preparation. Each of these tasks is described in greater detail below. 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained, including boring/drill permits from the EHD. Also, a site-specific Health and Safety Plan will be prepared. Prior to mobilization, each soil probe location will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. The EHD will be contacted a minimum of 48-hours prior to conducting investigation activities to arrange for inspection. Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
