To advance 4 soil borings to approximately 5 feet below ground surface (bgs) above
the static water table .
2. The 4 soil borings will be continuously logged . Soil samples will be collected for
1 analysis from 3 feet bgs in each boring .
3 . Tubing will be placed in each soil boring with a 6 inch screen from the total depth
upwards. Each boring will be completed as soil vapor well and construction must be
in complance_w_ith the San Joaquin County Well Standards .
4 . Soil vapor samples will be collected no sooner than 72 hours after well completion .
5 . Vapor samples will be analyzed for TPHg , BTEX, and MTBE using EPA Methods
TO-3 and TO- 15.
6 . CRA will complete a report of finding comparing results to screening levels. The
CRA evaluation report will include conclusions and recommendations .
COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS :
1 . Samples collected will be analyzed and the results evaluated to determine if there is
a threat for vapor intrusion into existing buildings or future development that may
occur on-site.
2. To reduce project costs , semi-annual ground water MW sampling and analysis is
warranted at this site versus quarterly ground water MW sampling and analysis .
3. Quarterly status reporting needs to be maintained until the site is closed and a
NFAR is issued by the appropriate regulatory agency.
DATED 7L3LO11 BY
Harlin Knoll , Senior REHS (209) 468-3442
Cc: Larry Silva, CRA
