The proposed <br /> septic system will consist of a 2,000-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three 55- <br /> foot long leach lines, and three 42-inch seepage pits. The septic system will be connected <br /> to the two-bedroom modular residence planned to be developed on the property and will <br /> be utilized 365 days a year. <br /> 3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 1,200- <br /> gallon septic tank with two compartments and two 90-foot long leach lines. The septic <br /> tank and leach lines are located to the west and north of the structure on the property. <br /> The system is permitted for a two-bedroom house and will be utilized 365 days/year once <br /> the residence is occupied. <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> Two septic permits are on record at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD). EHD Permit 13283 on record for 228 Klo Road, Lathrop, California, <br /> indicates that a septic system was installed at the property in June 1961. EHD permit <br /> SR0078110 on record for 228 Klo Road, Lathrop, California, indicates that the original <br /> septic tank was destroyed and replaced with a new 1,200-gallon tank and distribution box <br /> in August 2017 (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> One septic permit for repair/addition is on record at EHD. EHD permit SR0078110 on <br /> record for 228 Klo Road, Lathrop, California, indicates that the original septic tank was <br /> destroyed and replaced with a new 1,200-gallon tank and distribution box in August 2017 <br /> (Appendix B). <br /> 3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br /> Neighboring properties are zoned for residential, industrial and agricultural land use. The <br /> adjacent properties to the east and west and the property to the north beyond Klo Road <br /> are residential; the adjacent property to the south is industrial; and the property to the <br /> west beyond the residential property is agricultural. Several liquid waste permits are on <br /> record at the EHD for installation of septic systems surrounding the site property. <br />
