Hwy 4
Stockton, CA 95206
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Monitoring Well Installation
Report" dated January 6, 1995, prepared by Geological Audit
Services, Inc. for the above referenced site.
When the 8000 gallon and 12000 gallon underground storage tanks
(UST) were removed from this site in May 1991 soil and grab water
samples were collected from the excavation and analyzed by a
laboratory. The soil samples did not reveal contamination but one
of the water samples did evidence gasoline contamination.
Based on the results of the investigation conducted by Geological
Audit Services, Inc. in November and December 1994, PHS/EHD concurs
with their recommendation that MW1 be destroyed and that further
investigation of the UST area is not warranted.
Please submit a well destruction application and $60 fee for
destruction of the monitoring well. The destruction must be
performed by a C-57 licensed driller.
If you have any questions contact Margaret Lagorio at (209) 468-
3449 .
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Lead Senior REHS Diane M.
