Wright recommended and the City initiated interim remediation since the roadway, curb and sidewalk were being realigned directly over where the tanks had been removed and additional excavation access would be inaccessible once the roadway realignment was completed Consequently, the previously discussed interim cleanup was performed in 1993 2000-foot Radius Well Search Summary The well search identified the reported wells within the 2000-foot radius, and provides the information as requested by PHS-EHD (see Figure 1) The nearest City of Tracy well (about 1,200 feet) is down-gradient to the site, and the nearest downgradient well is at the extreme edge of the search There have been no reports of which Wright is aware by the City (the purveyor of drinking water) of drinking water problems caused by petroleum contaminants to their wells Further, the site shallow aquifer of interest Ices stratngraphncally above the underlying pumping aquifer The well data information gathered by Wright is from readily available published and unpublished State and local agency sources The well location information is as complete as the official records are for these wells The lack of other information on some logs (pertaining to location depth, length of seals, lnthology logging, etc ) arises from the incomplete form completion,filing or form submittal to agencies in the past There are no other well information sources available to Wright at this time Based upon these data, the wells plotted in the well search are not present along lines of surmised contammant flow, and the wells occur beyond the furthest mapped extent of the Tracy Auto Stereo dissolved plume Table 1.
