(ATC) has prepared this workplan addendum, on behalf of The Customer
.Company for the- performance of additional subsurface investigation activities at the above
referenced site. ATC submitted a Workplan for Additional Subsurface Investigation at Former
Cheaper Store #37, 15 East Grant Line Road, Tracy, California, dated April 19, 2004 and this
workplan was approved by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) in h
their correspondence dated July 12, 2004.
i
During subsurface utility locating activities performed at the site on September 14, 2004, the
proposed northern most cone penetrometer (CPT) boring location was determined to be
inaccessible by the CPT drill rig. ATC contacted EHD and was advised by Ms. Victoria
McCartney to either install two CPT borings east and west of the original proposed boring
location or to install one CPT boring on the adjacent parcel north of the site. Based on site
conditions, ATC proposes to install the northern most CPT boring on the adjacent parcel, 2514
Holly Drive, owned by the Northside Assembly of God(Figure 2).
ATC is requesting that EHD provide written approval of the proposed boring relocation to assist
ATC in obtaining access to the adjacent parcel from the Northside Assembly of God.
s:\enviromental\25847\37\reports\wkp.doc 1
ENVIRONMENTAL, GEOTECHNICAL AND MATERIALS PROFESSIONALS
l
r
