Project 113-26-04,05, Page 3
November 17,1995
(BGS) were submitted for chemical analysis Four of the borings (B4, 5, 6, 7) were
. located to the west of the tank system and contained between 79 ppm (B-6, 6') and
470 ppm (B-4, 7) TPH gasoline with low to high levels of BTEX (Table 1 Historical
Soil and Groundwater Sample Analysis Results) Three of the borings were on the
eastern side of the tanks and gave analytical results of not detected (N.D ) at B-1, 6'
and B-3, 6', to 19 ppm TPH-g at B-2, 6' Groundwater grab samples were obtained
from six of the borings Groundwater grab samples from B-1 and B-3 were N D. for
TPH gasoline with not detected to low levels of BTEX constituents. Groundwater
grab samples from B-2, 4, 5, 6 contained very high levels of TPH gasoline and BTEX
(see Table 1)
Groundwater monitonng was performed four times in 1993 and three consecutive
quarters between 1994-1995 The groundwater flow direction has varied from toward
the south-southeast in late winter/early spring to the north-northeast in the late
summer/early to late fall, averaging N89°E (approximately due east) over eight
morutoring events Groundwater monitoring was suspended after the 1st quarter
1995 in order to complete the project documented below and to include the new data
points The depth to groundwater at the well locations has been between 6 and 7 feet
BGS
Parker Environmental Services, 190 East 7th Street, Pittsburg, CA 94565-2317
Phone (510) 439-1024 Fax (510) 439-2566
