PHASE SCHEDULE
I. Approval of Remedial Work Plan by San Joaquin County Public Health Services
' Environmental Health Division.
II. Week 1: Drilling and Application of Product
' A. Natural water process used to initialize and grow H--10 on the
site for a "Batch Solution".
' B. Install infiltration wells drilled into the contaminate plume.
C. "Batch Solution" is then placed into the contaminate plume.
' D. Monitoring wells are bored in and around the contaminate Plume to
be used for readings using a photoionization detector (PID).
E. All borings are placed in a membrane and pile remediated and then
covered by plastic tarp.
111. Weeks 2-4: Monitoring and Reporting:
A. PID readings are taken from the monitoring wells on a weekly
basis.
IV. Weeks 4-Completion (Estimate of 20-40 weeks)
' A. PID readings are taken from monitoring wells bi-weekly.
* It is estimated that this will take 20-40 weeks to complete.
Because this is a natural process, each site is different.
tContractor will continue to treat until project is complete.
B. Quarterly status reports will be submitted to San Joaquin County
Public Health Services Environmental Division.
' V. Weeks 14-30: Final Testing
A. When PID readings are below required "clean-up" levels, final
' testing begins.
' B. Soil and/or water samples are taken from the site and sent for
formal analysis by a certified independent laboratory.
C. If these levels confirm that the site is below "clean-up" levels
' and is thus "non-actionable", the project is then completed.
' 109
