Grantline <br /> Tracy, CA 95736 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD)has recently reviewed this <br /> site to determine if further investigation is required. <br /> After reviewing all of the data previously submitted, PHS-EHD has concluded that any subsurface soil or <br /> groundwater investigation in any area of the site would be unwarranted. The soil and groundwater plumes have <br /> been delineated and any further investigation proposed outside of the delineation is not required and is considered <br /> by PHS-EHD as unnecessary. In addition, any investigation not approved or required by PHS-EHD may not be <br /> approved for reimbursement by the State Water Resources Control Board(SWRCB), Cleanup Fund. <br /> PHS-EHD has recently approved this site for closure. In accordance with our contract with the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board(SWRCB),we will forward the necessary documents to the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for concurrence. The CVRWQCB has thirty(30)days to respond in writing with <br /> any concerns they have or the site becomes eligible for closure. <br /> Prior to issuing a"No Further Action Letter, PNS-EHD will require the manifests for the underground lank removal <br /> and the soil disposal records along with a formal statement from the City of Tracy concerning the"clarifiertsump° stili <br /> located inside the building. The monitoring wells currently located on site will need to be properly destroyed under a <br /> permit issued by PHS-EHD or monitored and the results reported to PHS-EHD on a regular schedule. <br /> As soon as the requested documents have been received and approved by PHS-EHD,your site closure information <br /> will be forwarded to the CVRWQCB. Monitoring well destruction's require a$60 permit and a small workplan.
