Hydraulic head (h) between extreme contours was <br /> 52 71 ft less 52 . 63 ft or 0 08 feet Hydraulic gradient is <br /> equal to h/L or 0 08/37 5 ' = 0 .002 ft/ft (the hydraulic <br /> gradient on November 23 , 1993 was 0 00173 ft/ft) <br />
