Concentrations of contaminants increased in <br /> Monitoring Wells (MWs) 3 and 4 since the previous sampling, event. <br /> i MWs 4 and 5 were destroyed under PHSlEHD per;nit on July E1. I998 in order to allow <br /> street widening by the City of Tracy. Over=cavarion of contaminated soil near the <br /> location of NfW 4 occurred on Seprember 2, 1998 as pare of the City of Tracy's street <br /> widening, project. During rhe excavation for this omject- Wright Enviroameatal Services <br /> Inc_ over excavated contaminated soil from the street tberween the previous MW 4 <br /> location and the intersection of Grantline Rd_ and Parker St.). <br /> The Quarterly Report recommends approval of rhe previously submitted CIosure <br /> Summary Report. The following information should be submitted to PHSi= as an <br /> addendum to that Closure Summary Report: <br /> I <br /> 1) A complete well survey of domestic,municipal, agricultural, industrial and any <br /> other wells within a 2,000 foot radius of this site. Contact the Department of Water <br /> Resources, municipal water suppliers and nearby industries for well information. <br /> Perforin a physical search of the area to identify any wells_ Show the locations of all <br /> wells, submit any known construction details or,the wells. Identify all sources or <br /> information in rhe well survey report and clearly depict each well location as they relate <br /> to the above referenced site. Discuss conclusions regarding,public and environmental <br /> Health risks as they relate to the pumping influence of these identified wells and the <br /> migration and potential impact of the contaminant plume proposed to be left in place: <br /> 2) A discussion of the street widening activities and any information generated from <br /> the work performed by Wright Environmental Services, Inc.
