Box 5155
San Ramon, California 94583
Subject: Status of Drums at Unocal Service Station No. 6981, 4707 Pacific Avenue,
Stockton, California.
Mr. Camille:
As per our conversation on January 4, 1993, this letter is to inform you of the status and
disposition of two drums of cement that were left at the above-referenced site. The cement
was generated during construction of monitoring wells at the site. Because the Unocal
station is still operating, the extra cement could not be disposed of onsite and was thus
containerized in two drums and left onsite by the drilling subcontractor. This material was
intended to be removed by the subcontractor. Following notification from Unocal that these
two drums remained onsite, RESNA notified the drilling subcontractor and asked that they
be removed from the site. It is RESNA's understanding that these two drums were picked
up by Westex Drilling during the week of December 21, 1992, and hauled to their facility
in West Sacramento. If you have any additional questions regarding these drums, please
call.
Sincerely,
RESNA Industries
Oriiginal Signed
Eric J.
