The site is a <br /> relatively flat lot at an elevation of approximately t3 feet above mean sea level. Properties <br /> a► ;cdjacent to the site are priinarily used for r3minercial businesses, and >>veral stropping <br /> centers. <br /> Two 13,000-L;allon underground g,tsoline-siorage tanks are east of the station building. <br /> W4 Information pro,,ided by Unocal indicates that lite tsvo doubled-walled tanks are made of <br /> Plas/Steel and are used to store regular unleaded gasoline and super unloaded gasoline. The <br /> approximate locations of the tanks, other selected site features, aril nearby utilities are shown <br /> on the Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2). <br /> .A City of Stockton Department of Public Works sanitary sever line is beneath ;larch lane, <br /> south of the site (Plate P-2). The sanitary sewer line I+ranches into two lines at lite northwest <br /> corner of March sane and Pacific Avenice. I'ltese two branches lie beneath the sidewalks that <br /> form tine east and south boundaries of the site. 'There arc no septic tanks in the area to our <br /> knowledge. Approximately 1.500 feet southeast of the site trending cast and west is tite <br /> Calaveras River. <br /> It 13C IONAL GEOLOGY <br /> The site is within the Central Valley of California. which is a northwestward-trending, <br /> asvmmetric structural trough that has been tilled with 6 to 10 tuiles of sediment ranging in age <br /> from Jurassic to Holocene (Page, 1986).
