Approximate locations of the storage tanks and other . <br /> ,tuctires are depicted on the Generalized Site Plan, Plate P-2. <br /> Previous Mork <br /> f� <br /> _ on May 13, 1: 88, Applied Geosystems collected 9 soil samples from <br /> 4-foot deep test- pits located on each side of the two dispenser <br /> islands and one located perpendicular to the dispenser islands at <br /> the southern end. Applied Geosystems collected one sample from <br /> 8-feet bei.ow grade in a test pit located on the east s33e of the <br /> o <br /> western dispenser island, Three soil samples were also collected <br /> and composited from the stockpiled soil on site. These samples <br /> were collected in response to detected contamination during <br /> installation of a blending valve at the service station. The <br /> blending valve is designed to mix different types of gasoline in <br /> a 60% to 40% ratio. According to the contractor small holes were <br /> noted in the farmer underground piping associated with the <br /> dispenser lines during installation of the blending valve. <br /> Underground product lines at the station have since been removed <br /> and are being replaced wi-Fh completely new plumbing. <br /> Results of soil samples analyses indicated total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon levels ranging from not detectable to 382 parts per <br /> 2 <br /> APPI ed aeo rystelns <br />
